Welcome! We are a small family farm that raises and direct markets pasture raised, grass fed, dry aged Beef, Lamb, Pork, Chicken & Eggs. Our daily farm work includes help from four generations of our family and also some neighboring farmers. By direct marketing we are able to see about 90% of our consumers face to face. We all enjoy working with our animals everyday in a respectful way, we take care of them and they take care of us. As we go through our workday we think about our patrons by name and it is a reminder to us of how important our work is.
Our pasture raised chickens & hogs are also fed non-gmo corn, peas, beans, alfalfa, kelp & minerals. We do not feed antibiotics or animal by-products and we do not use hormones or chemicals on any of our animals. We believe in sustainable agriculture and management intensive grazing on pastures free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers.
For our farm, Sustainable Agriculture includes
1. Animals treated humanely with respect & integrity
2. Environment that is clean & chemical free for our air, soil & water
3. Relationships with customers, family and friends that count on us for safe, clean, life providing food
4. Organic farming methods
5. Healthy business practices & relationships
When we harvest our animals we bring them to a small family owned facility for processing that is State Inspected by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
